Who WE are looking for:
Responsible for assisting with managing and coordinating the daily operations of the EVS department on assigned shift. Ensures that all areas of the casino are clean and meet OSHA/Safety standards. What is expected of
YOU:
Excellent internal/external guest service; Assist with personnel-related matters including, but not limited to: interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, and coaching; Monitor work performance to ensure the overall cleanliness of designated areas; Assist with upkeep of inventory for department; Train staff in proper use of equipment and upkeep; Train and monitor use of all chemicals; Handle guest complaints and concerns; Assist with requisitions, reports, correspondence, and forms related to the operations of the department; Other reasonable duties as assigned.
Experience YOU will need:
High School/GED 3-6 Months related experience preferred Knowledgeable about proper EVS techniques; implement and handle chemicals; be familiar with OSHA/Safety requirements Ability to use all EVS machinery and chemicals Bilingual preferred
Physical Requirements:
Excellent guest service and communication skills Exposure to casino-related environmental factors, such as bright lights, excessive noise, human bodily fluids, and bio-chemicals Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods Other physical demands of this job may include, but are not limited to: bending, lifting up to a minimum of 50 lbs.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Able to obtain/maintain necessary licenses and/or certifications as required by local gaming regulations.
