Your Role at Delta Faucet The Group Leader (GL) provides direct supervision to the Team Leaders and production Team Members and is responsible for creating a safe work environment, meeting quality standards, achieving schedule compliance and on-time delivery, providing excellent customer service, attaining productivity goals, reducing cost, developing people, and continuous improvement. The GL is responsible for the performance of the plant metrics (Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost), day-to-day production activities, project coordination, leading improvement activities, and supervision of Team Leaders. Other responsibilities include developing Team Leaders, supporting new product launches, developing standardized work procedures, and finding innovative solutions to problems. Responsibilities Create, promote and lead others to ensure a safe working environment Maintain "Glass House" for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost performance Develop, sustain, and audit standard work Develop and adhere to workplace checklists Participate in the selection process of Team Leaders and develop them Promote 5-S activities Facilitate and participate in continuous improvement / lean manufacturing activities Perform process analysis using data analysis tools Staff and schedule departmental personnel to ensure production requirements are met at lowest possible cost Coordinate and train new team members Ensure and support machine set-up, maintenance and operations Observe, coach and counsel team members on work related issues Ensure quality standards are met Achieve delivery schedule Support new product launch efforts Coordinate team member vacation time and record absenteeism Manage time and attendance Perform additional duties as assigned or as required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Technology or related field preferred with a minimum of two years supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Strong leadership skills Good verbal and written communication skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Ability to work with high a degree of reliability and self-reliance Bias for action Computer literacy with ability to learn new systems Why Join Us? Hiring Range:
$65,900.00 - $103,400.00 USD Actual compensation may vary based on various factors including experience, education, geographic location, and/or skills.
