Full-Time or Part-Time Position Summary Fujiyama Steakhouse is seeking a motivated and dependable Shift Lead to help oversee and support daily restaurant operations while providing exceptional guest service. The Shift Lead works alongside the management team and employees to ensure smooth operations, support employees, and create an outstanding dining experience for every guest. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced restaurant team members looking to take the next step toward management. Responsibilities Lead and support front-of-house and back-of-house team members during assigned shifts. Ensure exceptional guest service and quickly resolve guest concerns. Assist with opening and closing procedures. Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and restaurant appearance. Help coordinate seating, wait times, and guest flow. Coach and motivate team members while maintaining a positive work environment. Ensure all health, safety, and sanitation standards are followed. Assist with training new employees. Communicate effectively with managers regarding operational needs. Help maintain labor efficiency and productivity throughout the shift. Step into various positions as needed to support the team. Qualifications. Leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude with a team-first mentality. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
