Kitchen Supervisor (Food Service Supervisor) Wally's | Full-Time | Benefits Eligible Wally's is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Supervisor to lead food production, support team performance, and deliver an outstanding guest experience. This role is responsible for maintaining high standards in food quality, cleanliness, and safety while supervising daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment. Kitchen Supervisors play a key leadership role by coaching team members, driving production goals, and ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards . Compensation & Benefits 401(k) with 5% company match Company-paid medical option Dental & Vision coverage Company-paid life insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Short-Term Disability (STD) Long-Term Disability (LTD) AD&D coverage Health Savings Account (HSA) Flexible Spending Account (FSA) What You'll Do Leadership & Team Development Lead by example in professionalism, urgency, and guest service Supervise and support kitchen team members to ensure efficient execution Coach, train, and develop team members on recipes, food safety, and standards Provide real-time feedback and support performance improvement Assist with evaluations and corrective actions when needed Guest Experience Deliver a fast, friendly, and accurate guest experience Step in to resolve guest concerns professionally and quickly Model teamwork and Wally's service standards Food Preparation & Production Oversee daily food production to ensure quality, consistency, and speed Prepare menu items according to recipes, SOPs, and portion standards Monitor presentation and ensure product meets brand expectations Food Safety & Compliance Enforce all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards Maintain clean and organized workstations, equipment, and utensils Conduct and document required temperature checks Identify and report safety risks or equipment issues Inventory & Operations Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stocking Ensure proper storage, labeling, and FIFO rotation Support receiving and organization of deliveries Collaboration Partner with Kitchen Managers and leadership to maintain smooth operations Support other departments and store initiatives as needed Maintain flexibility with scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays What We're Looking For 1-2 years of food service experience in a fast-paced environment preferred 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience preferred Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Strong communication and team leadership skills Ability to stay organized and lead under pressure Comfortable working in a high-volume kitchen environment Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods Frequent use of hands, reaching, and repetitive motion Occasional bending, kneeling, crouching, or crawling Lift up to 15 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
