Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 40 Hours per Week Available Shifts (Choose Your Preferred Schedule): 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM 10:30 AM - 7:30 PM Contract-to-Hire Opportunity This position begins as a 3-month contract assignment with the opportunity to become a permanent employee based on performance, attendance, and business needs. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Food Service Supervisor to provide daily leadership and oversight of food service operations. This role supports management by coordinating the work of food service employees, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining food safety standards, and assisting with the day-to-day supervision of staff. This position is ideal for candidates with prior food service leadership experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and helping teams succeed. Responsibilities Assist management with the daily oversight of food service operations Coordinate and direct routine work activities of food service employees Monitor employee performance and productivity Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards Support staffing, scheduling, and workflow coordination Assist with training and coaching employees Address operational issues and help maintain efficient service Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment Requirements Must be at least 18 years old Previous food service, restaurant, cafeteria, healthcare, or institutional food service experience required Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to lead and motivate a team Must pass a KBI background check (scheduled by the State) Reliable attendance and professionalism required Training & Onboarding Orientation starts on June 22, 2026 All new hires must complete a one-week orientation program provided by the State before beginning regular job duties Uniform Requirements Black or navy blue slacks/cargo pants Additional uniform items may be provided by the facility Apply today to join a team-focused environment and take the next step in your food service leadership career!
