Special Products SUMMARY:
Guides and assists the production crews in activities concerned with production of company product(s) by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned Partners with Supervisors and Management to ensure production activities are staffed appropriately and in a cost effective manner. Supervises crews or work groups to ensure department goals are met. Maintains and records information appropriately for their department. Ensures their crews work safely and follow all GMP s, Food Safety and Quality regulations and policies. Monitors supplies/inventory on hand and determine order points to avoid running out when appropriate. Fills in at work stations to relieve crew members and/or Supervisors for breaks.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises 8-12 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or up to one year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to other employees of the organization. Ability to read, speak and write English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to perform simple math; addition, subtraction, division.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Have the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES and
REGISTRATIONS
Certified on all machinery and equipment used by their crews. HACCP for CCP positions Certification.
