Responsibilities Open the store by preparing food items, brewing coffee, and setting up equipment for the day's service Operate POS systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently Greet customers with enthusiasm, take orders, and upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, bar, and food prep stations through sanitation practices Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and accountability during register operations Support team members with basic food service tasks like food prep, stocking supplies, and assisting in kitchen operations Skills Proven experience in food preparation or quick service & fast food restaurant environments Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transactions Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to multitask effectively while managing time in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing Previous restaurant or café experience is highly valued; retail or grocery store background is a plus Join us as an opener to kickstart your career in the vibrant food industry!
