Duties Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards, including proper food handling and kitchen procedures. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately, handle cash transactions, and manage sales reports. Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, upselling menu items, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, kitchen, and food prep stations through bussing, sanitation, and food safety practices. Manage closing responsibilities such as cash handling, reconciling registers, cleaning equipment, and securing the premises. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and communicating supply needs to management. Support team members during busy periods by providing assistance with food preparation, serving guests, or other restaurant operations. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurants is preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus. Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to upsell menu items effectively. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bussing tables or food prep.
