Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and motivated Front of House Team Lead to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused restaurant environment. This pivotal role combines leadership, exceptional customer service, and operational management to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests. As the frontline ambassador of Empire Wingz, you will inspire and guide your team to deliver outstanding service while maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and efficiency. Your enthusiasm and management skills will help foster a positive atmosphere that encourages teamwork, growth, and guest satisfaction. Duties Lead and supervise front-of-house staff, including training new team members and providing ongoing coaching to enhance performance Manage shift operations efficiently, ensuring smooth service flow during busy periods Oversee customer interactions to ensure a welcoming environment and resolve any issues promptly Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and maintain high standards of food presentation and quality Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash handling and reconciliation Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste Enforce food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in compliance with health regulations Assist with staff scheduling, interviewing candidates, and managing team development initiatives Support food preparation activities when necessary to ensure quick service in a casual dining or quick-service restaurant setting Uphold cleanliness standards in the dining area, bar, and service stations Skills Proven experience in food service management within casual dining, quick service, or fine dining environments Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or team management experience Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety protocols, and kitchen operations Ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and cost-effective food management practices Experience in staff training, development, and conducting interviews for new hires Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively during high-volume shifts Knowledge of hospitality management principles including shift management and restaurant operations Background in culinary arts or kitchen management is a plus but not required; hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous Excellent communication skills to foster teamwork and ensure clear instructions across departments Join us as a Front of House Team Lead where your leadership will elevate guest experiences while supporting your professional growth in a dynamic hospitality environment.
