A GREAT SHIFT LEADER EFFECTIVELY DIRECTS OPERATIONS OF THE RESTAURANT. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
(BUTARE NOT LIMITED TO
): Leading, training, and developing Team Members Opening and closing of the restaurant Ensuring safe & sanitary food preparation with top-notch quality Managing breaks and shift changes Delegating tasks to Team Members and supervising their performance. Works as a team player to support other Team Members in completing their tasks Maintains fast, efficient, and accurate operations in our drive-thru / walk-up restaurant model Ensures an excellent customer experience to our community in Lafayette Assigns job duties/tasks to Team Members and ensures successful completion of all assigned tasks Balance cash registers at the end of the shift and completes required reporting Ensures compliance to established cash handling and security processes Communicates effectively with team, peers, and direct reports. Offers help without being asked in all areas of the restaurant Supports Southern Classic Chicken's Mission, Vision & ValuesROLE REQUIREMENTS
Problem solving and decision-making skills and the ability to be flexible and adapt in any situation Basic math and computer skills Ability to work full-time and different shifts including nights and weekends Reliable transportation. Preferably access to a reliable vehicle that is insured and holding a valid driver's license Experience leading a team; during your shift you will direct up to 30 team membersEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred 1-2 years of team leadership experience in a food service or retail environment preferred You have to be at least 18 years of ageJob Type:
