New Orleans is famous for its year-round music festivals, nighttime ghost tours, lively Mardi Gras celebrations in the French Quarter, and the vibrant arts and crafts scene at Jackson Square.
Training plan:
Orientation (0,5 month): You will receive orientation to the company and local community and includes learning about our company's customers, culture, business strategies, etc.; learn about payroll schedules and payroll tax withholding; local training area, housing options, apartment complexes and transportation options; meet key contacts and other employees; receive computer training on company systems; receive orientation to local community including cultural centers, volunteer opportunities, local sporting events, and entertainment venues. Orientation is scheduled to take up to one month and takes places concurrently with the first phase of training. Beverage Department Supervisor (3 months): You will learn American quality service standards; point-of-sale computer system; coordinate day-to-day operation of Spirits Bar; assist in pre-shift meetings and attend daily communication meetings; provide leadership and support for staff; assist in providing training and/or mentor employees; resolve and follow up with any guest concerns; assign sidework; assist with scheduling team members per food and beverage forecast/outlook; learn to be responsible for bar stock and place orders; learn about the food and beverage cost control strategies and revenue reporting; employee gratuity distribution; opening and closing duties of Spirits manager. Restaurant Supervisor (3,5 months): You will learn American service standards; point-of-sale computer system; coordinate day-to-day operation of Drago's restaurant; assist in daily pre-shift meetings; support and assist staff; assist in providing training, coach, and/or mentor employees; learn upselling techniques; sidework assignment; ordering procedures for supplies; food and beverage cost control strategies; learn to create the daily, weekly and monthly forecasts along with your manager; learn labor cost control, staffing and scheduling procedures, revenue reporting, employee gratuity distribution, learn payroll procedures and adjustments and learn the opening and closing duties of restaurant manager. Barista Supervisor (5 months): You will learn to supervise at Hilton's Riverbend cafe and Starbuck staff and learn to assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of American quality standards; learn to interact with guests to ensure a positive guest experience; learn to ensure that products are served in a professional and timely manner; learn how to handle guest complaints; learn how to ensure availability of manpower, supplies, and equipment; attend pre-shift meetings and learn to assist in the completion of reports; assist in scheduling and supervision of Riverbend's staff; learn to conduct ongoing training and coaching of employees.
