Job Description

Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Lead to join our dynamic culinary team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that food preparation, cooking, and presentation meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Your leadership will inspire staff, streamline processes, and uphold our commitment to exceptional food service in a fast-paced environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary professional with management experience to make a significant impact in a vibrant hospitality setting. You will be working in tandem with our current Kitchen Lead who is more pastry focused. We are looking for someone who is savory oriented and willing to help us expand our prep program and grow with us! Duties Lead and supervise kitchen staff, providing training and development to enhance culinary skills and operational efficiency Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation align with brand standards Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs Enforce food safety protocols and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations Coordinate shift management, ensuring smooth operations during busy hours while maintaining high customer service standards Assist with hiring, interviewing, and onboarding new team members to build a strong culinary team Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management, fine dining or casual dining experience is a plus Demonstrated leadership skills with prior supervising or management experience in a food service environment Familiarity with inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures Excellent people skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster a positive team environment Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently during high-volume shifts while maintaining attention to detail Hospitality management background with experience in restaurant or hotel settings is highly desirable
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
