In person The Spicy Nacho is hiring one Keyholder / Shift Lead to help run daily store operations, lead a small team, and support the growth of the business. This position is best for someone who is dependable, professional, coachable, calm under pressure, and ready to take ownership . You do not have to know everything on day one, but you must be willing to learn, follow systems, lead by example, and keep standards high. The Keyholder / Shift Lead will help open, operate, and close the store , support the owner during daily operations, lead part-time workers during the shift, maintain cleanliness, provide strong customer service, upsell, and help protect the quality and reputation of The Spicy Nacho. This is a small-team environment, so reliability and leadership matter . We are looking for someone who communicates clearly, moves with urgency, stays organized, and wants to grow with the company . Pay Starting pay is $11.00 per hour during training . After training is completed, pay increases to $12.50 per hour . Tips Tips provide additional earning potential based on sales, hours worked, and store performance. Tips are not guaranteed , but our tips are strong when sales and service are strong. During good sales periods, team members may earn an estimated total of $15-$17 per hour including tips , but actual tip income varies. Training The first two weeks include paid hands-on training with the current manager/owner. The full introductory period lasts up to 4 weeks but may end sooner depending on performance. The Keyholder / Shift Lead will not receive store keys until the introductory period is completed and required standards are met. Experienced applicants may need limited training. Applicants with less management or shift-lead experience may be assigned additional virtual training to learn responsibilities, systems, SOPs, upselling, and store expectations. Responsibilities Open, operate, and help close the store properly Lead part-time workers during the shift Keep the store clean, organized, and customer-ready Provide strong customer service Help maintain positive customer reviews Upsell customers and help increase average ticket size Learn and follow all store SOPs Complete daily inventory counts Track product levels and communicate what needs to be ordered Make sure workers stay productive during slower periods Protect the quality, speed, cleanliness, and reputation of The Spicy Nacho Attend performance check-ins as needed Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older Must have reliable transportation Must be able to work the full scheduled shift: Monday-Friday, 12:00 PM-7:00 PM Must be able to read and follow written SOPs, checklists, labels, recipes, and instructions Must have a food handler or food safety certification, or be willing to obtain one before starting Must have some food service, customer service, shift-lead, or management experience Must be dependable, professional, and able to communicate clearly Must be comfortable learning new systems and adapting to new SOPs Must care about cleanliness, customer service, speed, and customer reviews Must be able to lead a small team effectively Benefits Guaranteed 35-40 hours per week Opportunity to earn tips on top of hourly pay Paid hands-on training and development Clear raise path based on time, performance, and responsibility Employee discount Opportunity to grow with a growing business Ideal Candidate The right person is responsible, coachable, calm under pressure, dependable, and serious about growth.
