Nutrition and Food Service Staff, and Skilled Nursing Facility Dining Hall Manager Qualifications Needed:
Completed certification program for Food Service Director Quantity and Quality cooking, supervision of personnel, ordering and budgeting supplies Knowledge of state, local, and federal regulations regarding food handling and sanitation, and must possess and maintain Serve-Safe (HACCP) certification. Along with knowledge of management and budgeting skills
Physical Demands:
Ability to speak, read, and write efficiently in English Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly and at times emotionally upset or hostile people within the center. Occasionally pushes residents/patients in wheelchair weighing up to 250lb for 500ft along with twists, stoops, bends, squats, kneels, climb stairs, lifts and carries equipment and supplies weighing 25lbs or less.
Essential Functions:
Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the Nutrition and Food Service Department in accordance with the written policies of the Company, Federal, State and Local regulations. Assist in the development, administering, and coordinating of department policies and procedures Maintaining food ordering within a dietary budget. Scheduling employees and their work assignments. Responsible for quality and quantity of food served, along with participating in menu planning with the dietician.
