CTE Culinary Arts students
OVERALL DUTY
Students operating the Stadi-YUMMS refreshment stand at Chicopee Comprehensive High School run a fast-paced, live foodservice operation. Working during athletic matchups and school events, students alternate between front-of-house and back-of-house roles to master professional hospitality and culinary skills. Gather, portion, and organize ingredients and packaging prior to the event rush. Cook, grill, and assemble menu items safely, keeping hot foods above 140°F and cold items below 41°F. Maintain clean workstations, wash tools, and strictly follow ServSafe and Massachusetts food safety codes. Greet Chicopee Comp fans, take orders accurately, and manage the condiment and display stations. Handle cash transactions, count back change accurately, and manage order lines efficiently during busy half-time peaks. Package orders correctly and serve them quickly to maintain a fast speed of service.
