We value energetic individuals who can contribute to our dynamic team and elevate the guest experience. Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Shift Lead to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily kitchen operations during your shift, ensure food quality and safety standards are met, and lead our kitchen team with enthusiasm and professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop leadership skills in a lively, multicultural setting while ensuring smooth kitchen workflow and exceptional service. Responsibilities Supervise food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure consistency and quality throughout your shift Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste, FIFO Oversee food safety practices in compliance with health regulations and company policies Train and develop team members on food handling, cooking techniques and customer service standards Lead shift management activities including daily communication with staff, making prep lists, placing orders, keeping track of staff breaks, ensuring temperatures are being logged throughout the day, keeping the team motivated during any down time. Collaborate with staff to maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the kitchen environment Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen management within quick service or fast-food restaurants Experience with Toast KDS systems is a plus Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting Familiarity with food safety standards and health regulations; certifications such as ServSafe are a plus Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster a positive team environment Experience in inventory control, food production, catering, or banquet service is advantageous Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of quality Join us as a Kitchen Shift Lead and be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering flavorful experiences that delight our guests!
