Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Crew Member and Shift Lead at our Tropical Smoothie Café, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create an exceptional experience for every guest. In this dynamic role, you'll be the heart of our operation—serving delicious smoothies, bowls and food while leading by example to ensure smooth daily operations. Whether you're crafting beverages, managing transactions, or motivating your team, your positive attitude and dedication will drive success. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of smoothies, bowls, and food items with precision and care Operate POS systems to process orders accurately and efficiently Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests warmly and addressing their needs promptly Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation procedures Assist in training fellow new team members and supervising shifts to uphold quality standards and productivity Oversee daily café operations including inventory management (for shift leads), cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming environment for guests Qualifications Previous food service experience preferred; familiarity with café or retail environments is a plus Strong knowledge of POS systems is highly desirable Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly and energetic approach Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math accuracy Knowledge of food safety protocols and food preparation standards within the food industry preferred Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members as a Shift Lead when needed (for shift leads) Reliable work ethic with flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm makes a difference!
