We are a Faith-Based, Non-Profit, boutique-sized Long-Term Care facility (69 beds), nestled in the heart of the Berkshires. We are seeking to hire a Director of Dietary

• Food Service to join our dynamic team of professionals. This is a working role, requiring active involvement in every aspect of the Dietary Department.
• \$73K to \$77K annually based on skills and experience Director of Dietary

• Food Service Chef Qualifications:

• 3 years of Food Service management experience.
• One year of Long-Term Care experience preferred.
• Active Certified Dietary Manager certification required. Director of Dietary

• Food Service Job Summary:

• Plan, cook and serve meals as needed.
• Develop and revise dietary policies with consultation of Dietitian.
• Interview, select, orient, and oversee training of Dietary staff.
• Supervise Dietary staff.
• In conjunction with the Human Resource Director, carries out disciplinary actions as needed.
• Make bi-weekly department schedules, adjusting as necessary for absences.
• Plan menus and develops recipes.
• Plan theme meals, buffets, parties, etc. with the Activity Director and/or Administrator, and other Department Heads as needed.
