Job Description

Operations & Growth Leader Fletcher's BBQ Shop & Steakhouse | Longmeadow, MA $65,000 Salary + Performance Bonus If you've ever looked at a restaurant and thought, "I could improve this place," keep reading. Fletcher's is an independent BBQ restaurant and steakhouse with a growing catering business, special events program, and food trailer operation. We're looking for someone who enjoys hospitality, but also gets excited about improving profitability, growing sales, solving problems, and building something meaningful. Right now, the owner is the person thinking about profitability, growth, catering, events, operations, staffing, and where the business is headed. We're looking for a second adult in the room who wants to help carry that responsibility. This is not a typical restaurant management job. What You'll Do Part of your week will be spent making the business better: Grow catering and event revenue Find new sales opportunities Improve systems and profitability Review sales, labor, and performance metrics Turn ideas into execution Part of your week will be spent in the trenches. We don't believe great operators sit in an office all day. You'll spend time on the floor, talking with guests, working alongside the team, and experiencing the restaurant firsthand so you can identify opportunities to improve sales, profitability, and the overall guest experience.
You will:
Run front-of-house operations Lead staff and maintain standards Talk to guests and build relationships Monitor labor and make smart decisions Solve problems before they become bigger problems What Success Looks Like Success is not simply keeping the restaurant running.
Success means helping us:
Increase sales Improve profitability Grow catering and events Build successful food trailer operations Create a stronger business If sales are down, we want someone who notices. If labor is high, we want someone who notices. If there's an opportunity, we want someone who goes after it. What We're Looking For You may be a great fit if: You have restaurant or hospitality leadership experience You enjoy both people and numbers You think like an owner You notice opportunities others miss You care about results, not excuses You want more responsibility than a typical restaurant manager role offers Compensation & Benefits $65,000 base salary Performance bonus tied directly to profitability improvement Target total compensation of $75,000-$95,000+ for a high-performing candidate Paid time off Opportunity for expanded compensation as the business grows We believe people who create value should share in the results. To Apply , send your resume and answer one question: Tell us about something you improved, built, grew, or made more profitable. We're not looking for someone to maintain the status quo. We're looking for someone who wants to help build what's next.
