Supervisor Lead PM Shift Masis Professional Group - 3.2 Medford, MA Job Details $80,000 a year 16 hours ago Qualifications Food production Manufacturing management Food processing plant Manufacturing facility Supervising experience Managing food or beverage production teams Full Job Description We are seeking an experienced Supervisor/Lead to oversee evening operations within our Sausage Production Department. This role is responsible for leading production teams, coordinating workflow, ensuring food safety compliance, supporting supervisors, and maintaining production efficiency throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate sausage production operations during PM shift Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate production goals Monitor workflow across Mix & Grind, Stuffing, Packing, and Packaging departments Reassign labor as needed to meet production targets and minimize downtime Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, allergen, and quality standards Review production paperwork, downtime logs, and shift reports Troubleshoot production, staffing, or equipment issues in real time Coordinate with Maintenance and Quality Control teams as needed Train and support supervisors and production staff Supervise sanitation operations during late-night cleaning shifts
Qualifications:
Previous leadership experience in food manufacturing required Experience operating grinders, stuffers, mixers, and production machinery preferred Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and quality standards Experience supervising teams of 10+ employees preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced, cold room environment (approx. 40°F) Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
