This role leads the breakfast kitchen team, maintains food safety and sanitation standards, manages inventory, and works closely with management to deliver an outstanding guest experience. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook breakfast menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards. Lead and coordinate the breakfast kitchen team during service. Ensure all food is prepared accurately, efficiently, and served at the proper temperature. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen in compliance with health department regulations. Assist with scheduling, training, and mentoring kitchen staff. Monitor food quality, portion control, and waste reduction. Ensure equipment is operating safely and report maintenance issues promptly. Collaborate with management on menu development, seasonal specials, and recipe improvements. Follow all company policies regarding food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of breakfast cooking experience, with previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong knowledge of breakfast preparation, including eggs, pancakes, waffles, breakfast meats, baked goods, and à la carte cooking. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Thorough understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays. ServSafe Certification or equivalent food safety certification preferred. Desired Skills Strong multitasking and time management abilities. Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset. Attention to detail and commitment to consistency. Ability to remain calm and organized during busy service periods. Passion for delivering high-quality food and exceptional guest experiences.
