Restaurant Supervisor The Crowne Plaza Boston Woburn - 2.0 Woburn, MA Job Details Full-time $21 - $22 an hour 9 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Hospitality Management Customer service Supervising experience Team management Food Handler Certification Full Job Description As Food and Beverage Supervisor, you'll supervise food and beverage operations to ensure quality service and standards are maintained to deliver a memorable guest experience. Always following government regulations concerning health, safety or other requirements.
Responsibilities:
Manage everyday activity, plan and assign work ensuring you always have the right staffing numbers Develop your team and improve their performance through coaching and feedback, and create performance and development goals for colleagues Train employees to make sure they deliver with compliance and to the standards we expect Facilitate positive guest experiences by ensuring steps of service are being followed, and food arrives at the tables within required guidelines Make sure all food and beverage equipment is in operational condition and regularly cleaned Notify engineering immediately of any maintenance and repair needs Make sure all food and beverage facilities including banquet/convention spaces are clean and properly stocked to anticipated business volume by confirming assigned sidework is being completed. Establish and achieve quality and guest satisfaction goals. Help guests with their requests and complaints - making sure you maintain a high level of guest satisfaction Assign cash banks, and verify deposits as team members are cut at the end of their shifts.
Deliver financial results:
grow revenue by improving check average, and minimize labor expense by cutting to appropriate business levels during your shift.
Skills:
Some college and/or advanced training in food and beverage management 2 years of related experience, including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card, as required by local law
