Job Description

Culinary Supervisor The Culinary Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day culinary operations. This role supports the Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef and Executive Chef in ensuring quality, consistency, and execution of all menu items while maintaining Hyatt brand standards. The Culinary Supervisor provides leadership and direction to culinary colleagues while fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do:
  • Assist in the oversight of daily culinary operations
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality food production that exceeds guest expectations
  • Support and train cooks across multiple stations
  • Lead the team in the absence of a Sous Chef
  • Maintain high standards for safety, sanitation, teamwork, and efficiency
  • Contribute to cost-control efforts and productivity goals
  • Assist in monitoring payroll costs & overtime
  • Inspire cooks and build a strong team culture w passion for food is at the center.

              • A minimum of 2 - 3 years in a high-volume culinary kitchen preferred.
              • Culinary degree or certification (preferred but not required).
              • Previous supervisory or lead cook experience (preferred).
              • Passionate about food, flavor, and execution.
              • Must have good typing skills.
              • Refined verbal and written communication skills.
              • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
              • Must be available to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
