Job Title:
Food & Beverage SupervisorPosition Summary The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel's food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional guest service, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the management team in achieving operational and financial goals. This position supervises staff, ensures compliance with company policies and health regulations, and helps create a positive dining experience for guests. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of restaurants, bars, room service, banquets, and other food and beverage outlets. Lead, coach, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding guest service. Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing training and development. Assist with scheduling employees to ensure proper staffing levels. Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations. Handle guest concerns and resolve service issues promptly and professionally. Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards. Assist with inventory management, ordering, receiving, and controlling costs. Ensure accurate cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) procedures. Support banquet and special event operations as needed. Conduct opening, closing, and shift management duties. Collaborate with culinary, front office, and other departments to ensure smooth operations. Maintain a safe and clean work environment for guests and employees. Assist management with performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and hiring recommendations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or business-related degree preferred. Previous experience in food and beverage operations, preferably in a hotel environment. Supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Experience with POS systems and basic computer applications. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong leadership and team-building skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure. Understanding of labor, inventory, and cost-control practices. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 30-50 pounds. Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform other physical tasks associated with food service operations. Working Conditions Fast-paced hospitality environment with frequent guest interaction. Exposure to kitchen equipment, food preparation areas, and varying temperatures. May be required to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Pay:
$23.00 per hour
