We also specialize in fine cheese, wines, liquor, beer, and a garden department!
Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk & Customer Liaison to be the bridge between our kitchen, store team, and customers. This is a hands-on position that plays a key role in maintaining product flow, ensuring food safety, and providing top-tier customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Product Review & Communication Check and confirm current stock and new kitchen items each morning Update and distribute a daily customer mailer featuring available menu items and inventory highlights Quality Control & Food Safety Receive kitchen items and verify ingredient accuracy, labeling, and expiration dates Ensure all food packaging is compliant with safety and allergy standards Portion specific food items accurately for display and sale Inventory Prep & Stocking Restock and prepare salads, soups, and grab-and-go items for the evening team Maintain clear organization and cleanliness of the desk and prep areas Customer Service & Order Fulfillment Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with questions, orders, and information Organize, ticket, and pull items for pick-up and delivery orders Ensure orders are set correctly in designated areas for fulfillment Follow up with customers to confirm satisfaction and resolve any issues
What We're Looking For:
Exceptional attention to detail—especially when it comes to food safety and order accuracy Strong communication skills, both written and verbal A natural multitasker who can stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment Passion for food, local sourcing, and community engagement Customer-first attitude and commitment to providing a quality experience
Qualifications:
Previous experience in food service, retail, or customer-facing roles preferred Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods Familiarity with food labeling, portioning, or allergen protocols a plus Basic proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and ticketing systems
Schedule & Compensation:
Full-time hours 40 hours a week Pay based on experience; starting at $18 per hour. Range ($18
