Overview Join our dynamic team as a Grill Supervisor and lead our kitchen operations with energy, expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional food experiences. In this role, you will oversee the daily grilling and food preparation processes, manage team members, ensure top-notch food safety standards, and maintain efficient restaurant operations. Must be 21 or older due to alcohol sales according to Maine State Law Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all grilling and food preparation activities to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met. Lead and train kitchen staff on food safety protocols, proper cooking techniques, and efficient workflow practices. Oversee inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs. Manage daily shift operations, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring timely service delivery. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy. Enforce food safety regulations and cleanliness standards to maintain compliance with health department requirements. Collaborate with management on staffing schedules, interviewing potential team members, and supporting staff development initiatives. Handle customer inquiries or concerns promptly to uphold excellent customer service standards. Assist in budgeting efforts by controlling labor costs and managing operational expenses effectively. Support catering or special event preparations as needed to expand our service offerings. Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation, kitchen management, or supervising in a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment. Strong knowledge of cooking techniques specific to grilling and food production processes. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, and shift supervision. Excellent understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the hospitality industry. Previous experience in restaurant management or hospitality management roles preferred. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions.
