• Part-time, Full-time Job Overview As a Shift Leader, you will be the driving force behind delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations within a fast-paced, quick service restaurant environment.

You will lead and motivate team members, oversee food preparation and service, manage inventory and cash handling, and uphold food safety standards. Your energetic leadership will inspire your team to perform at their best, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests while maintaining operational excellence during your shift. This weekly paid position (plus tips) offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in the food industry while working in a dynamic, supportive environment. All applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Responsibilities Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service delivery in line with company standards. Lead, motivate, and train crew members to deliver outstanding customer service and uphold food safety practices. Manage shifts, assign tasks, and oversee team performance to maximize productivity. Oversee food handling procedures, inventory control, and food production to minimize waste and ensure quality. Uphold all labor and break policies while adhering to company and state regulations. Operate POS system for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas in compliance with health regulations. Support management in conducting ongoing training & development initiatives. Oversee efficient safety and security of cafe during all hours of operation. Experience Proven experience in food service management or supervising teams within a quick service or fast food restaurant environment. Strong background in food preparation and kitchen management. Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling experience required. Experience in inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures. Prior hospitality management or restaurant experience with a focus on team leadership and customer service excellence. Demonstrated ability to manage shift operations efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
