Job Description

Position Summary:
The AM Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing morning restaurant operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience during breakfast and brunch service. This includes managing staff, maintaining operational excellence, and optimizing financial performance. The role also encompasses supervision of the on-site Starbucks operation, ensuring brand compliance and superior customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Restaurant Operations (AM Shift): Oversee daily morning restaurant operations, including breakfast service setup, staffing, quality control, and guest satisfaction. Monitor and manage all aspects of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in compliance with local health codes and company policies. Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure food presentation and quality standards are met. Handle guest complaints professionally, promptly resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction. Schedule, train, and supervise front-of-house team members for morning shifts.
Starbucks Operations:
Supervise and support the Starbucks team to maintain brand standards for beverage quality, store cleanliness, and customer service. Ensure compliance with Starbucks operating procedures, merchandising, and health/safety guidelines. Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving of Starbucks products. Lead morning open-ups and ensure all Starbucks systems are operational and properly staffed.
Leadership & Staff Management:
Train, mentor, and evaluate performance of team members; conduct daily pre-shift meetings. Maintain a positive team environment focused on service excellence. Coordinate with restaurant General Manager for staffing needs, employee relations, and compliance with labor regulations.
Financial & Administrative Duties:
Monitor labor, food, and beverage costs for the AM shift and Starbucks. Prepare daily reports, shift summaries, and assist with budgeting and forecasting. Assist with vendor management and inventory control for both the restaurant and Starbucks.
