Sanitation Shift Leader 802 Central Campus (Whitehall Rd)

Join Wesco as a Sanitation Shift Lead at our 802 Central Commissary Campus to lead a hands-on team that protects food safety, quality, and a clean, well-maintained production environment! This role leads sanitation associates in cleaning and sanitizing equipment, work surfaces, and production areas to ensure compliance with food safety regulations. The position supports bakery and deli operations by preventing contamination, properly handling cleaning chemicals, and following established sanitation procedures. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee sanitation team activities to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule. Validate cleaning practices using ATP and EMP testing. Lead root cause analysis for sanitation-related non-conformances and implement corrective actions. Train and coach sanitation associates on GMP, PPE, and best practices. Manage chemical and sanitation supply inventory and perform regular inspections. Coordinate staffing, daily assignments, and interviewing with the EHS Manager. Complete audits, inspections, reports, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications Must be 18+ Years of age High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required Desired Qualifications Minimum 3 years industrial sanitation experience Minimum 2 years supervisory or team leadership experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Work Environment & Safety Ability to stand for 8 hours per shift Ability to work in wet and humid environments Hands-on leadership in sanitation and safety compliance Employment Type Full Time / Hourly
