- Full-time Overview We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Dining Room Supervisor to lead our front-of-house team and ensure our guests enjoy a memorable dining experience.
In this role, you'll oversee daily restaurant operations, manage staff, and uphold high standards of service and food quality. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, possesses strong leadership skills, and has experience in food service management within casual or fine dining environments. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the dining room, ensuring smooth service flow and guest satisfaction. Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of professionalism. Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlist to optimize table turnover and guest experience. Oversee food presentation and service quality, ensuring adherence to safety standards and company policies. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and billing procedures. Monitor inventory levels of dining supplies and assist with stock control to minimize waste and control costs. Support staff during busy periods, manage shift schedules, and assist with interviewing and onboarding new team members. Experience Proven supervisory or management experience in food service or hospitality settings, preferably within casual or fine dining establishments. Hands-on experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong background in food handling, safety management, and kitchen operations is a plus. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively, including training, development, and performance management. Familiarity with restaurant management tasks such as budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and inventory control. Experience working in fast-paced environments such as quick service restaurants or catering events is beneficial. Excellent communication skills coupled with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service across diverse audiences.
