Oversee daily café operations, ensuring smooth service flow and high-quality food presentation Lead and motivate a team of staff members, providing training, coaching, and development to enhance performance Manage food preparation processes, maintaining consistency and adherence to safety standards Handle Square POS system for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation Control inventory levels through accurate stock management and ordering to minimize waste and optimize costs Supervise food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and cleanliness standards Assist in shift management by coordinating staff schedules and ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours Support catering or special events as needed to expand service offerings and guest satisfaction Solid work history that demonstrates dedication and reliability Strong background in drink and food preparation Familiarity with POS systems similar to Square for efficient transaction handling Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in hospitality or restaurant settings Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest interactions Knowledge of food safety protocols, inventory control, and food handling regulations Ability to train staff effectively and foster a team-oriented environment Previous experience in casual dining or cafe style establishments is highly desirable Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently Ability to lead by example by following your own high standards Join us as a Café Lead where your enthusiasm for food service meets leadership excellence!
