Job Description

Full Job Description We are looking for a Restaurant Supervisor who is just as passionate as us about great food and excellent hospitality! As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining a positive dining experience for our guests, and managing the daily operations of our restaurant. This is a dinner only restaurant, so evenings are required.
Supervisor Duties:
Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs. Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times. Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility sanitation, and cleanliness through training employees and creating a positive, productive working environment. Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures following restaurant policies and procedures. Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations. Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports, and schedules in an organized and timely manner. Oversee the bar to ensure inventory, cleanliness, recipes, and all other tasks are maintained. Ensure that all products are received in the correct unit count and condition and that deliveries are performed following the restaurant's receiving policies and procedures. Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair, and consistent corrective action for any violations of company policies, rules, and procedures. Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county, and municipal regulations that pertain to the health, safety, and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees, and guests. Additional duties and tasks as assigned. Supervisor Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): Be at least 21 years of age. Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests. You must be able to communicate in a professional, effective manner. Know about service and food and beverage, plus have at least 2 years of front-of-the-house operations and/or assistant supervisor positions in a full service restaurant. Possess excellent basic math skills and can operate a cash register or POS system. Some college education is preferred. Be able to work in a standing position for long periods (up to 10 hours). Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Must have the stamina to work 45-50 hours per week.
