Stumblebum Beer Co. is looking for a dependable, motivated kitchen professional to join our team full time. We're a small local brewery and kitchen focused on creating a welcoming experience centered around craft beer, premium cheeses, and elevated comfort food. Our ideal candidate has prior kitchen and/or food service experience and an interest in cheese, charcuterie, and beer pairings. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative and creative environment. Our menu consists of approachable, high-quality offerings including paninis, fried snacks, premium cheese boards, and rotating specials designed to complement our beer selection. We're looking for someone excited to contribute creatively to menu development, pairings, and guest experiences while helping maintain a positive and organized kitchen culture. Preferred Schedule Full Time (35-40 hours per week) Tuesday 1:00pm-9:30pm Thursday 1:00pm-9:30pm Friday 11:00am-9:30pm Saturday 11:00am-9:30pm Responsibilities Prepare and execute menu items consistently and efficiently, including the breakdown and portioning of a variety of cheeses for service and to-go sales. Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff, specifically in determining beer and cheese pairings and special menu items. Food prep, inventory organization, and daily kitchen operations Support development of new menu items and specials Support development of special event menus (buffets, finger foods, etc) Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times Maintain a positive attitude during busy service periods Required Skills & Qualifications Prior kitchen, line cook, and/or prep cook experience Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable attendance and punctuality Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends Preferred Experience / Interests Experience or interest in cheese mongering and charcuterie Interest in craft beer and cheese pairing Inventory and ordering experience Culinary training or hospitality background Servsafe certification or similar What We Offer Full-time salaried position Paid Time Off Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunity for creative input and menu collaboration Employee discounts Growth opportunities within the company If you're passionate about food, hospitality, and craft beer, we'd love to hear from you!
