This role serves as the primary floor leader for restaurant, bar, breakfast, brunch, and lunch operations and is responsible for creating exceptional guest experiences while supporting team development, service execution, and revenue growth. The Food & Beverage Supervisor works closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, Culinary Team, and hotel leadership to ensure operational excellence throughout The Terrace, The View, Lobby Bar, and other assigned service areas. Prime candidates will possess strong restaurant and beverage knowledge, demonstrated bartending experience, and the ability to confidently lead morning, brunch, and lunch shifts while supporting evening operations as business needs dictate. This position requires an individual who can balance guest engagement, team leadership, operational execution, and financial awareness while maintaining Marriott and Aimbridge Hospitality standards. Qualifications At least 2 years of progressive restaurant, bar, hotel, or hospitality leadership experience preferred. Supervisory or lead-level restaurant experience required. Strong bartending background and knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, beer, spirits, and responsible alcohol service strongly preferred. Experience supervising breakfast, brunch, lunch, or high-volume restaurant operations preferred. Food Handlers Certification required (must comply with State regulations). Alcohol Awareness Certification required (must comply with State regulations). CPR and First Aid Certification preferred or as required by company policy. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with restaurant POS systems preferred. Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly. Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately. Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations. Must maintain composure and professionalism under pressure. Must possess strong leadership, coaching, and guest recovery skills. Must have the ability to understand financial information, labor reports, sales reports, and productivity metrics. Primary Areas of ResponsibilityRestaurant & Outlet Leadership Supervise daily operations of The Terrace, The View, Bar, Lounge, and other assigned food and beverage outlets. Serve as the manager-on-duty for food and beverage operations during assigned shifts. Lead service teams through breakfast, brunch, lunch, and bar operations. Ensure all outlets are properly staffed, organized, and prepared for service. Monitor guest flow and business levels throughout the day and adjust staffing and service priorities as needed. Support outlet profitability through operational efficiency, guest engagement, and sales growth. Beverage & Bar Operations Possess strong working knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and beverage service standards. Support bartenders through coaching, training, and quality control. Ensure beverages are prepared consistently and according to recipe standards. Promote responsible alcohol service and maintain compliance with all state and local regulations. Assist with beverage inventory controls, ordering, merchandising, and promotional initiatives. Support beverage-driven revenue opportunities through upselling, features, and seasonal promotions. Guest Experience Approach all encounters with guests and associates in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner. Maintain a visible presence on the floor during service periods. Engage guests proactively and ensure a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout all outlets. Resolve guest concerns and service recovery opportunities promptly and professionally. Ensure Marriott guest service standards are consistently executed. Focus the team on contributing positively to guest satisfaction and service scores. Team Leadership & Development Lead, motivate, coach, and develop food and beverage associates. Conduct pre-shift meetings and daily communication with service teams. Ensure associates receive proper training and follow established service standards. Monitor performance and provide coaching and corrective feedback as needed. Support onboarding and training of new associates. Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and teamwork. Operational Excellence Ensure compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality and Marriott standards. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and organization throughout all service areas. Conduct opening, shift change, and closing inspections. Monitor service execution and ensure consistency across all outlets. Assist with POS updates, menu changes, and operational communication. Ensure side work, cleaning tasks, and daily checklists are completed properly. Financial & Administrative Responsibilities Assist with labor management and productivity goals. Review daily sales reports and operational performance. Support scheduling based on forecasted business levels. Assist with inventory management, purchasing, and cost control initiatives. Monitor cash handling procedures and investigate variances when necessary. Support promotional initiatives and revenue-driving programs. Maintain required documentation, logs, and operational records. Responsibilities Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming in accordance with Marriott brand standards. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and certification requirements. Be familiar with the organization of the hotel and understand the function of each department. Attend required meetings, training sessions, and property events. Participate in Manager-on-Duty coverage as assigned. Maintain positive working relationships with all departments throughout the hotel. Support banquet and event operations when business demands require. Complete all required reports, correspondence, and documentation accurately and on time. Perform other duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Director, Food & Beverage Manager, or General Manager. Retirement Plan Schedule Expectations:
This position requires flexibility to support business needs, with a primary emphasis on breakfast, brunch, lunch, and daytime operations. Weekend availability, including Sunday brunch leadership, is required. Experience opening and operating high-volume breakfast and brunch services is highly preferred.
