Job Description
Dietary Manager We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Dietary Manager to oversee our dietary department. As a Dietary Manager , you will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with nutritional and safety standards, and providing high-quality meals that enhance the well-being of our residents.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise dietary staff and oversee daily kitchen operations. Plan, prepare, and monitor menus in accordance with physician orders and resident preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards. Monitor food inventory, order supplies, and control costs. Train, schedule, and evaluate dietary staff. Collaborate with nursing and administration on resident nutrition needs. Conduct meal service inspections to ensure quality and presentation standards. Maintain accurate documentation and reports as required. Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred. Minimum two years of supervisory experience in food service, preferably in healthcare. Knowledge of dietary regulations and safe food handling. Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills. Ability to manage a team and maintain a positive kitchen environment.
