Restaurant & Bar LeadJob Summary Schram Vineyards Winery & Brewery is seeking an experienced Restaurant & Bar Lead to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant and bar while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This leadership role is responsible for supporting front-of-house operations, developing staff, maintaining service standards, and assisting with bar operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoys coaching others while creating memorable guest experiences. Key ResponsibilitiesRestaurant Operations Lead daily front-of-house operations, including the restaurant, bar, and host team. Ensure efficient, smooth service while maintaining exceptional hospitality standards. Assist with opening and closing procedures and daily operational responsibilities. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining and bar environment. Work closely with the kitchen and management team to provide a seamless guest experience. Step into service or behind the bar as needed during busy shifts. Team Leadership & Development Supervise, coach, and support servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff. Train new team members on service standards, POS systems, menu knowledge, and hospitality expectations. Develop bar training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and cocktail recipe guides. Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented culture. Bar Operations Maintain bar organization, cleanliness, and product quality. Oversee inventory of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, paper products, and other front-of-house supplies. Coordinate vendor orders and assist with monthly inventory counts. Minimize waste and help manage beverage costs. Collaborate with management to create and update seasonal cocktail menus and beverage offerings. Guest Experience Lead by example in delivering warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service. Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently. Ensure guests receive consistent, high-quality experiences every visit. Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with all food safety, alcohol service, and health regulations. Promote responsible alcohol service and maintain a safe environment for guests and staff. Qualifications 2+ years of restaurant leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Bartending experience preferred Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and remain composed in a high-volume environment. Experience with restaurant POS systems. Working Conditions Evening and weekend availability required.
