Job Overview Urgently Hiring Shift Leaders/Managers!! Join our dynamic team as a Firehouse Subs Shift Leader and become the driving force behind delivering exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced, lively environment! As a Shift Leader, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, motivate and manage staff, ensure food safety standards are met, and uphold our commitment to quality and service excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership skills while working in a vibrant culinary setting where teamwork and enthusiasm are celebrated. Your energetic approach will inspire your team to perform at their best and create memorable dining experiences for our guests. Duties Lead and supervise restaurant staff during shifts, ensuring smooth operation and high-quality service Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to maintain safety and quality standards Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling Control inventory levels, monitor food supplies, and assist with ordering to minimize waste and maximize profitability Train new team members on food safety, customer service, POS usage, and operational procedures Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety protocols, and cleanliness standards across all areas of the restaurant Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and foster a welcoming environment for guests Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management or supervisory roles is highly preferred Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within casual dining or hospitality settings Proven skills in staff training, team leadership, and supervising hospitality teams Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing Experience with inventory control, food safety management, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis Demonstrated ability to manage shift operations effectively in a high-volume environment Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence and team development Firehouse Subs is an amazing place and also offers: Flexible Scheduling Discounted Meals Free Uniforms No late nights & FRYER
