Job Description

Overview We are seeking an energetic and experienced Bar Supervisor to lead our bar team with enthusiasm and expertise. In this dynamic role, you will oversee daily bar operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Your leadership will drive team performance, uphold high standards of food and beverage quality, and ensure smooth shift management. Duties Supervise daily bar operations, including opening, closing, and shift transitions to ensure efficiency and consistency Lead, motivate, and train bar staff on food preparation, beverage service, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), and customer interaction techniques Oversee inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste while maintaining food safety standards Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems and manage cash handling procedures with integrity Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food handling, food safety protocols, and alcohol service laws Assist in food preparation tasks when necessary, including garnishing drinks or preparing light snacks in line with restaurant standards Support management in budgeting, staff scheduling, interviewing candidates, and conducting staff training & development initiatives Maintain a vibrant atmosphere by engaging with guests, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction Collaborate with kitchen management to coordinate food production for bar service or special events such as banquets or catering Skills Proven supervising experience within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining settings with a focus on bar operations Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary experience, and kitchen management principles Expertise in POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling Excellent team management skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster a positive work environment Experience in inventory control, food safety practices, and food handling regulations within the food industry Demonstrated leadership in hospitality management with a focus on customer service excellence Ability to manage shift schedules efficiently while balancing operational needs with employee well-being Background in restaurant or hotel experience with barista or coffee experience considered a plus Strong communication skills for interviewing candidates, staff training & development, and guest interactions Knowledge of budgeting processes related to food & beverage operations along with catering or banquet experience beneficial Join us as a Bar Supervisor (Experienced) to lead a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality experiences.
