Job Description

Summary The Assistant Food Service Manager supports the overall leadership and operational performance of the theme park's food and beverage program. This role helps oversee daily operations across three quick-service food stands, six snack stands, and the fudge shop, ensuring exceptional guest service, food quality, safety, and team performance in a fast paced, seasonal environment. Responsibilities
  • Assist in overseeing daily food service operations across all outlets
  • Ensure consistent food quality, portion control, presentation, and speed of service
  • Maintain a strong guest-first culture and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Support special events, such as picnics
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling of food service staff
  • Help ensure adequate staffing levels and labor efficiency across all locations
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment
  • Ensure food safety and compliance with all local health department regulations and company food safety standards
  • Monitor sanitation, cleanliness, and food handling procedures
  • Assist with health inspections and corrective action plans as needed
  • Support inventory control, ordering, receiving, and storage procedures
  • Help track sales, waste, and key operational metrics
  • Administrative & Strategic Support
  • Assist the Food Service Director with planning, reporting, and operational improvements
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership Qualifications Required
  • 2+ years of food service management or supervisory experience, preferably in high volume or multi-unit operations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasons
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment Preferred
  • Experience in theme parks, amusement venues, stadiums, or similar attractions
  • ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Experience with quick service and confectionery operations
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
