The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food service management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team, ensure food safety standards, and maintain efficient restaurant operations across various service settings, including quick service, casual dining, and fine dining establishments. Duties Supervise and coordinate restaurant staff during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service Oversee food preparation, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met in accordance with safety regulations Manage POS systems for order processing and cash handling Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock control, and coordinate food and supply orders to prevent shortages Train new staff members on food safety protocols, customer service standards, and operational procedures Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels Assist in managing restaurant operations including budgeting, staffing schedules, and overall food management Support kitchen management by supervising food production processes and ensuring timely delivery of orders Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests and staff Experience Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within quick service, casual dining, or fine dining environments Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary practices, and food safety standards Hands-on experience with POS systems; cash handling expertise required Strong leadership skills with previous staff training, team management, and shift supervision experience Background in hospitality management or hotel experience is advantageous Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, and food industry best practices Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally Prior experience in managing kitchen operations or food production is preferred Demonstrated ability to train staff effectively while fostering a positive team environment Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Join our team as a Shift Lead where you can make a significant impact on our operations while developing your career in the food service industry!
