Job Description

A Team Lead in a power-generation environment is responsible for supervising a group of technicians or operators, ensuring that production, assembly, shipping, or service tasks are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. Lead daily team operations — Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure work aligns with production schedules, project deadlines, or customer requirements.
  • Support technical processes — Guide team members in assembling, testing, packaging, or handling electrical and mechanical components used in power-generation systems.
  • Ensure quality compliance —
  • Maintain safety standards — Enforce OSHA, electrical safety, lockout/tagout, and company-specific safety procedures; conduct safety checks and support incident reporting.
  • Train and mentor employees — Provide onboarding, skill development, and performance feedback; support cross-training to build team flexibility.
  • Monitor productivity and workflow — Track progress, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements or resource adjustments.
  • Support documentation and reporting — Complete shift reports, update ERP/MRP transactions, maintain logs, and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical components, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Ability to lead a team, resolve conflicts, and communicate clearly across departments.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems for tracking work orders, inventory, or production status.
