Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring quality food preparation, and maintaining high standards of customer service in a fast-paced environment. The Food Service Supervisor will play a crucial role in training staff, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Duties Supervise daily food service operations to ensure efficiency and quality. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels. Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for cash handling and transaction processing. Train and develop staff in food handling, customer service, and operational procedures. Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new team members. Implement health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Provide exceptional customer service while addressing any guest inquiries or concerns. Assist with shift management to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Collaborate with kitchen management to enhance menu offerings and improve service delivery. Experience Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry, preferably in quick service or casual dining settings. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Familiarity with inventory control processes and budgeting practices. Experience with staff training, development, and performance management. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards achieving operational goals. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential. Previous experience in fine dining or banquet services is a plus.
