At Friends Homes, you'll lead a dining experience where: Guests are residents you build relationships with—not one-time customers Service is refined, personal, and consistent You can focus on quality and experience—without the chaos of a traditional restaurant rush What You'll Do As Dining Room Supervisor, you will set the tone for service excellence and lead a team committed to delivering a polished, personalized dining experience. Key Responsibilities Ensure high-end service standards are consistently executed in daily dining operations Lead, coach, and inspire wait staff, utility staff, and dietary aides Step in as needed to maintain seamless front-of-house operations Partner with leadership to coordinate catering and special events Train and onboard team members to deliver consistent, elevated service Communicate effectively through pre-shift meetings, team huddles, and ongoing coaching Oversee Point of Sale (POS) updates and accuracy Maintain strict sanitation and food safety standards in compliance with regulations Ensure dining spaces are immaculate, organized, and guest-ready at all times Create a personalized experience by honoring resident preferences and expectations Support a service culture centered on dignity, respect, and relationship-building ✅ What You Bring Required Experience in restaurant, hospitality, or dining service leadership Strong front-of-house leadership and team management skills Ability to thrive in a high-expectation, service-driven environment Excellent communication and guest service skills Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards Ability to prioritize, multitask, and lead under pressure Preferred Experience in fine dining, country club, hotel, or upscale restaurant environments Previous supervisory or management experience Experience with POS systems Experience training and mentoring service staff Experience working with senior populations or hospitality in healthcare settings Why Join Friends Homes?
