Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Night Shift Manufacturing Supervisor to lead operations in a fast-paced flexible packaging manufacturing environment , with a strong emphasis on flexographic printing, adhesive lamination , and converting bags . This role is responsible for overseeing production teams and processes across printing, converting and lamination operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for driving safety, quality, and efficiency on the night shift. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead night shift operations across flexographic printing, lamination, and high-speed wicket bag converting lines Manage flexographic press operations , including setup, color control, print quality, and troubleshooting Oversee adhesive lamination processes ( solventless), ensuring consistent quality and performance Lead production on high-speed wicket machines , ensuring efficiency, quality, and uptime targets are met Monitor production schedules and ensure timely execution to meet customer delivery commitments Enforce safety policies and build a strong safety-first culture Troubleshoot process, mechanical, and operational issues in partnership with maintenance team Drive continuous improvement initiatives (waste reduction, OEE improvement, downtime reduction) Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, and quality standards Train, coach, and develop operators, leads, and technicians Maintain accurate production, quality, and labor reporting Coordinate effectively with day shift leadership to ensure smooth shift transitions and communication
Qualifications Required:
3+ years of supervisory experience in flexible packaging, converting, or related manufacturing Direct, hands-on experience with: Flexographic printing presses Adhesive lamination processes High-speed wicket or bag-making equipment Strong understanding of web handling, coating, printing, and converting operations Proven leadership and team development experience Ability to work overnight and manage a flexible schedule
Preferred:
