Join our team as a Food Service Associate. In this vital role, you will assist in preparing, serving, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Responsibilities Assist in food preparation and meal assembly in accordance with dietary guidelines and safety standards Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and food handling equipment through regular sanitation and cleaning routines Follow food safety protocols including proper food handling, sanitation practices, and temperature controls to prevent contamination Help with food production activities Requirements Previous experience in food industry is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential Knowledge of food production, preparation and sanitation standards Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to follow detailed instructions related to food safety, portion control, and sanitation procedures Strong customer service orientation with a friendly attitude toward customers Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as lifting supplies or cleaning equipment Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Ability to twist, bend and lift as necessary for the position
