In this leadership role, you will coordinate team efforts, ensure exceptional pet care, and maintain a safe, clean environment for our furry guests. Your passion for animals and strong leadership skills will inspire your team to deliver outstanding service while managing the dynamic flow of daily activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on pets and their owners while fostering a collaborative, energetic workplace. Duties Supervise daily operations, ensuring smooth transitions during shifts and high-quality pet care Lead and motivate team members to deliver excellent customer service and animal handling standards Manage animal restraint procedures safely and effectively to ensure safety for pets and staff Conduct regular facility inspections to maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations Support team training on animal care techniques, customer interactions, and safety procedures Heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or animals when necessary to support daily operations Qualifications Proven experience in dog handling, pet care, or kennel management with a passion for animals Background in veterinary technician work, veterinary assisting, or animal handling preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks throughout the shift Experience in dog behavior and body language, daycare group play, and/or animal restraint enhances your candidacy Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a pet care environment is a plus Join us as a Shift Leader and be part of a lively team dedicated to providing exceptional care for pets while creating a positive experience for their owners.
