as a Kennel Shift Lead, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and care of our furry friends. We are looking for a passionate individual to lead our kennel team and contribute to a positive environment for pets and their owners.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and train kennel staff to ensure high standards of pet care. Oversee daily operations, including feeding, grooming, and exercising pets. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kennel facilities. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns. Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners and potential clients. Assist in scheduling and managing staff shifts effectively. Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations. Support the management team in administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
Previous experience in animal care or kennel management preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Knowledge of pet behavior and health care practices. Ability to lift and handle animals of various sizes safely. Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Certification in pet first aid or CPR is a plus. Passion for animal welfare and a positive demeanor.
