Full-Time Join Our Team Mill Creek Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and motivated Dietary Manager to lead the Food Services Department at our skilled nursing facility in Winston-Salem, NC. This leadership role is ideal for someone who is passionate about providing nutritious, high-quality meals while creating a positive dining experience for our residents. As Dietary Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the dietary department, ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, manage departmental budgets, and lead a dedicated team committed to exceptional resident care. Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the dietary department to ensure quality food service and resident satisfaction. Collaborate with dietitians and culinary staff to develop nutritious, appealing menus that meet residents' dietary needs. Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations. Manage food, supply, and labor budgets while maintaining quality and efficiency. Monitor inventory levels and oversee purchasing of food and supplies. Recruit, train, supervise, and support dietary team members. Foster strong communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to promote exceptional resident care. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Current ServSafe Certification required. Minimum of 5 years of food service management or related operational leadership experience , preferably in healthcare or long-term care. Associate degree or higher in Food Service Management, Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Knowledge of food safety regulations, dietary guidelines, and budget management. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical duties including standing, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday.
