The opportunity Delaware North Gaming is searching for a full-time or part-time Food and Beverage Supervisor at the Sheraton in Nashua, New Hampshire. What will you do? Assist managers in the training and development of the team. Ensure the work area is adequately stocked with all products and supplies needed for service. Collaborate with managers concerning operational deficiencies. Stocking all three food and beverage outlets on the property and maintaining neat and organized storerooms, completing inventory, assisting with promotions and events on site. Inspect by walking through your assigned area to monitor staff and to monitor guest needs while staying in compliance with local health standards. Lead hourly staff in the daily performance of their duties and collaborate with the manager concerning operational deficiencies and areas in need of attention. Greet guests positively and escalate concerns or complaints to management. Ensure compliance with all departmental and organizational policies and procedures. Assist with management of programming for the &More and Tara House and other events in the hotel. Oversee catering events and assist clients with their requests. More about you Must be at least 21 years old to apply. Two to three years of Food and Beverage experience required. Experience with catering preferred. Experience in a leadership role is required. Experience in a bar/restaurant setting preferred. Basic computer skills, including word-processing, spreadsheets, and email required. Demonstrate skill in dealing with guest complaints, using active listening skills to defuse difficult and sometimes emotionally charged situations to maintain the guest's goodwill. High school diploma or GED required. Must be available to work all shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical requirements Ability to lift or carry up to 30 pounds independently if needed. Ability to stand or walk 100% of the time. Shift details Days Evenings Holidays Weekends 8hr shift
