Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and passionate Barista Manager to lead the daily operations of our café in Allentown, NJ (Right off Exit 11 Interstate 195). The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, delivers exceptional customer service, and is committed to building and developing a high-performing team. This role is responsible for overseeing café operations, maintaining quality standards, managing staff, and ensuring an outstanding guest experience. Key Responsibilities Lead, train, coach, and develop a team of baristas and support staff. Oversee daily café operations, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and exceptional service. Create and manage employee schedules while maintaining appropriate staffing levels. Ensure consistent quality in beverage preparation, food service, and customer interactions. Monitor inventory, place supply orders, and manage product availability. Address customer feedback and resolve concerns in a professional and timely manner. Manage cash handling procedures, opening and closing duties, and operational reporting. Maintain compliance with health, safety, and food service regulations. Support sales initiatives and contribute to achieving operational and financial goals. Qualifications 2+ years of management or supervisory experience in a café, coffee shop, restaurant, or hospitality setting. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso beverages, and café operations preferred. Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and POS systems. Ability to multitask, stay organized, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
